Parc national du Mercantour

Beschreibung

It's a protected area of 68.500 hectares and stretches more than 120 km from the Col de Tende pass to the Ubaye. It fulfils two essential missions : the protection of the natural environment and informing visitors seeking a natural environment.600 km of marked paths lead walkers to discover this area and especcially the Vallée des Merveilles with its archaeological treasure of more than 30.000 cave and rock paintings.
